Muirfield

Mullican Muirfield is a USA-made solid hardwood collection offered here in maple and hickory, with 3-, 4- and 5-inch widths. The boards are 3/4 inch thick, with a smooth surface, beveled edges and ends, and CLARITAGE® Extra Finish.

Compare maple and hickory

The maple options have a finer-looking grain: compare pale Natural, warm amber-brown Autumn and deep brown Cappuccino. Hickory has a more pronounced grain in the product images, with Natural, Saddle and Provincial offering different balances of light tones and brown coloring. View a physical sample to judge the color against your cabinetry, walls and lighting; natural wood varies between boards.

Choose a plank width

Three-inch boards create more frequent seams; five-inch boards leave more space between seams to show the grain. Four-inch boards offer a middle ground. Open the product for your chosen color, species and width to check its SKU, random-length specification, carton coverage and price. The widths do not all share the same listed maximum board length.

Plan for solid hardwood

Mullican specifies solid hardwood for at- or above-ground-level installation. Ask your installer to confirm subfloor and moisture requirements for the selected product before ordering.
