Stone-Look Flooring with Coreproof DecoTile
Coreproof DecoTile is a tile-look rigid-core vinyl collection. Use this guide to compare its appearance, specifications and installation considerations, then confirm the availability of the color you want with JV.
What to Know Before Choosing DecoTile

DecoTile offers a stone-look design in a rigid-core vinyl format. It is worth comparing when you want a tile-style appearance with a click installation system, but the decision should include product suitability, subfloor preparation and the complete installed scope.
Explore the collection and confirm availability
JV’s catalog includes ELI, LIA, MAI and UMA, alongside other collection colors. Compare the room images and physical samples for undertone, veining and contrast with your cabinetry.
Catalog presence does not guarantee current stock. At this review, CPF’s collection page marked UMA active and several other colors unavailable. Contact JV to confirm the color and quantity you need before planning your project around a particular selection. Images of other collection colors remain useful for reference.
Understand the specifications
The manufacturer’s DecoTile collection information lists a 4.2mm core, 5.7mm overall thickness and 20-mil wear layer. Overall thickness and wear-layer thickness are different measurements. A 20-mil wear layer does not make a floor scratch-proof or establish suitability for every commercial use.
Confirm the current technical sheet, approved rooms, installation instructions and warranty for the exact product before ordering. If a condo requires acoustic documentation, check the tested assembly against the building’s requirements.

What changes compared with traditional tile?
DecoTile uses a click system and does not require the conventional grouting step associated with many ceramic or stone tile installations. The finished surface is still a vinyl product with its own care and performance characteristics; it is not natural marble or porcelain.
Do not assume it will cost half as much or that installation will be completed in a weekend. Existing-floor removal, disposal, substrate preparation, room layout and finishing details affect both price and schedule. Compare written estimates for the actual work.
Water protection still has conditions
The collection is marketed as waterproof rigid-core flooring, but that does not make the room watertight. Leaks can affect surrounding materials and the subfloor. Follow the product’s requirements for substrate moisture, perimeter details, approved applications and cleanup.
Furniture protectors and grit removal remain important. Read the warranty rather than assuming all scratches, dents, fading or water damage are covered.

Plan the installation and care
Ask about floor flatness, transitions, door clearance, any required moisture barrier and whether the existing flooring can remain. A floating installation must have the movement space required by the manufacturer. Stairs and fixed cabinetry need specific planning.
Review JV’s installation services and our vinyl cleaning guide. Use the collection’s approved cleaner and method; do not apply a universal vinegar or steam-cleaning recipe.
